- Grande performed the song before while doing an impression of Celine in 2016 on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
- Legend said they wanted to remake the song while still honoring the original and adding their own twist.[1]
- There are two verisons of the song: one version is the single featured on the soundtrack and used for the music video. The other version was featured in the final trailer for the movie.

The music video was directed by Dave Meyers. In the video, Ariana Grande wears a big red dress that represents the middle of a rose while dancers represent the rose's petals. She is also shown singing with John Legend who plays the piano in the video. In the background, we see a scene from the movie with Belle (Emma Watson) and Beast (Dan Stevens) dancing.
