"E più ti penso" is the lead single of Andrea Bocelli's fifteenth studio album Cinema, which features singer Ariana Grande.
Background and release
Andrea and Ariana had first met during the "Stevie Wonder: Songs in the Key of Life — An All-Star Grammy Salute" special which aired on February 16, 2015. A duet between the two was confirmed in early July 2015.[1] Ariana flew to Rome, Italy that week to record the song and film a cameo in Zoolander 2. The song was officially released on September 25, 2015 along with the pre-order for Andrea's new album, Cinema. Ariana tweeted, "so honored to be on this song with you, Andrea! you don't know what it means to me & my family! mille grazie! baci!!!" (thank you so much, kisses).[2]
Commercial Reception
The song debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Classical Digital Songs Chart. It also the first time Ariana appeared on the chart.[3]

On October 10th, Ariana posted a snippet of the music video on her Facebook, which was later released October 13, 2015 on Andrea Bocelli's VEVO account.[4]

The part of Andrea was filmed in Italy and the part of Ariana was filmed in Tokyo, Japan while she was in the city for The Honeymoon Tour. On August 20, 2015, Ariana posted on Snapchat she was filming a video that her Grandpa would be proud of.[6] She said the video was not for Moonlight the next day.[7]
